FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — The Acting Regent of Jeneponto will be inaugurated in December 2023. The South Sulawesi Provincial Government and the Jeneponto DPRD have proposed the names of replacement candidates.
Jeneponto Regent Iksan Iskandar’s term of office will end on December 31, 2023.
Iksan Iskandar himself is the Chairman of the Jeneponto Golkar Party.
The South Sulawesi Provincial Government reportedly proposed the Head of the Economic and Development Bureau, Junaedi; Expert Staff to the Governor of South Sulawesi, Jayadi Nas; and Director of Community Organizations, Directorate General of Politics and General Government, Risnandar Mahiwa.
“Essentially what is proposed is echelon II, there is a head of OPD,” said the Head of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government Organization Bureau, Idham Kadir, recently.
Meanwhile, the Jeneponto DPRD proposed the Head of the IPDN Civil and Alumni Administration Bureau, Baharuddin Pabba; Expert Staff to the Governor for Social Welfare of South Sulawesi Province Jayani Nas; Jeneponto Regional Secretary and Muh Arifin Nur.
Likewise, the Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed three names to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Apart from the Acting Regent of Jeneponto, the South Sulawesi Provincial Government will inaugurate the Acting Regent of Sidrap, Takalar, Luwu, Wajo and Pinrang this month. (selfie/dawn)
