Acting Governor of South Sulawesi Releases PSM Makassar Squad for Second Round of League 1

FAJAR.CO.ID MAKASSAR – The Acting Governor of South Sulawesi, Bahtiar Baharuddin, hopes and prays that PSM Makassar can become champions again in the 2023/2024 Indonesian League 1 season.

He also prayed that the team, the pride of the people of South Sulawesi, could achieve victory in the match against Persija Jakarta, Friday, November 3 2023.

“We support and pray, on behalf of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government, we pray that PSM will become champions in the second round,” said Bahtiar, at Plataran Ininnawa, Rujab Governor of South Sulawesi, Wednesday, (1/11/2023).

According to Bahtiar, PSM Makassar is not just about football, but also about the identity of the people of South Sulawesi, especially Bugis Makassar throughout Indonesia.

“PSM is not just the name of a football club, especially as we are Bugis Makassar migrants, when we say PSM we already have Bugis Makassar blood. This is our identity as South Sulawesi people,” he stressed.
