Oniria films and Cinema Nahual invite you to the Acting for cinema workshop, given by the filmmaker Ulises Guzmán. We are pleased to continue expanding our academic part so that cinema is understood and experienced from all its edges.
The course is focused on providing an introductory experience to the public that does not have experience in film acting and to train the experience of those profiles who are making their acting debut or who wish to get closer to the knowledge of film techniques.
It will be held in person in Xalapa, Ver. From December 14 to 17, 2021 from 9 am to 3 pm.

The objective is for the participants to acquire the theoretical-practical techniques and tools to be able to act in front of the camera, develop spatial sensitivity and develop themselves in acting for cinema and audiovisual media with green screen.

At the end of the workshop, the participant will obtain recognition with curricular validity for 30 hours of face-to-face workshop and a professional recorded record where everything learned will be shown.
Program:
1 theoretical day in the Nahual Cinema room.
2 practical day on location.
3 theoretical / practical day on location.
4 days on set recording with green screen.
3 zoom sessions of 2 hrs, introduction and closing.
Ulises Guzmán is a Mexican film director graduated from the University Center for Cinematographic Studies (CUEC) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Filmography: The Unusual Images of Aurora (1990), the documentary Acid Rain (1991), Velvet Hearts (1992), Midnight Virgin (1993), Limited availability (1999), Malapata (2000), XX-XY (2001) Out of the World (2001). His documentary work Alucardos: Portrait of a Vampire, an amazing journey through the life and work of the forgotten Juan López Moctezuma led him to participate in various festivals around the world. Among his most recent works is the film México barbaro; with the segment Seven times seven, recorded in the crater of the Nevado de Toluca. He is currently a director on the Mexican science fiction film Aztech (2021)
