Faithful to its civic spirit and in partnership with the Regional Blood Transfusion Center (CRTS), the Act4Community Jorf Lasfar Association recently organized a blood collection operation which has been very popular.
This solidarity and human initiative has made it possible to collect several dozen blood bags which are likely to help replenish blood stocks and make up for the flagrant lack of this vital matter at the level of the CRTS.
It aims to consecrate the culture of solidarity and raise awareness of the role of blood donation in saving life during this exceptional situation which has recorded the decline in the number of donors, underlines a source responsible for Act4Community.
This campaign, indicates for his part Dr. Zouhair Abdelkatif president of the provincial unit of the CRTS,
comes following the call for donation launched by the CRTS due to the drop in the number of donors, which coincided with the last summer vacation and the pandemic
It should be remembered that the organizers of this campaign have taken a series of measures at the organizational and health level, in order to comply with the preventive measures adopted at the national level.
