ACM fines Apple extra millions for ‘unreasonable’ demands on dating apps – IT Pro – News

I sincerely hope that ACM will also do something about so-called dating agencies.
My widowed father has literally lost more than 1000 euros (was 2000 euros in investment) because he was looking for a new partner after long hesitation.
(he felt he was betraying my mother, when he just wanted to pick up his life alone)

After months of not having a single match and after a long email, we finally managed to address their ”guarantee” and get half of the amount back.

And that while it is actually a faulty service because they have not found a match, so you should be able to get the full amount back.

So far my personal experience and I’m going back on topic:

As far as I’m concerned, there are too many vulnerable people who are looking for love again and again.
These apps should simply be available for free and without any costs.
An advertisement (as a banner or video, for example) is fine, but stay away from these very vulnerable people.
But I also know from the marketing world that the most income can be achieved with this group and as long as this is allowed, I don’t blame them either.

However, I maintain that this is a group that needs to be protected.
