Abstract
Nowadays, every day we perceive the environment of cities and their space, to which we have free access, thanks to the fact that this becomes a natural and legal instrument inherent to each person, but these attributes that should be integral and universal, They are not for everyone, with part of the population being discriminated against, due to some natural condition or eventual impediment that they have by their very nature. This scientific article seeks to expose the various urban criteria necessary to achieve adequate social integration, in order to allow universal accessibility to all, without distinction of any physical difference, permanent or eventual, that they have when using this space. ; To do this, it is necessary to identify the type of population that is involved in this limiting traffic exclusion, it is also sought to identify the consequences of this exclusion and describe the problems that it generates. The methodology for the development and search of scientific reason corresponds to the organization of applied type textual diversity, reaching the level of explanatory knowledge; obtaining the conclusion that the criteria in the urban environment have flaws and do not allow universal access to people who have disabilities, temporary physical or health limitations, older adults, pregnant women and people with children in their arms; Also, the design of its spaces is not suitable for the circulation of people and does not comply with current regulations that regulate the construction of spaces with universal access.
