‘Achhanoru Vaza Vecha’ is a film that says that harmony and discord in families are all momentary. The highlight of this film is the ways and shortcuts a father finds to guide his reluctant son to the right path.
Radio jockeys Pratyush and Damayanti work in the same organization. Pratyush, who has to be vocal about the closeness of his family ties, is often unable to keep the same closeness to his own family. This behavior of Pratish often hurts his father Satchidanand. Satchidanandan is a man who thinks that his family is everything to him. An exemplary bond is between Satchidanand and his wife Krishna. But for Pratyush, who is the representative of this generation, family is child’s play. Satchidanandan plans to adopt a new method to improve Pratyush’s company and his behavior towards the family.
Thinking that the generation gap between father and son is a big factor, Satchidanandan is making efforts to overcome it. Knowing that his son does not like old ways of thinking, the father decides to become modern. This film talks about some of the discord that this decision causes in the family and the discomfort it causes in others when doing some things that are not suitable for their age.
Deciding to be modern, Satchidanandan tries to keep up with the times in costume weddings and other things. Sachidanandan, who doesn’t even hesitate to go on dates, is slowly being distanced from his family. A big crisis arises in Pratyush’s life as Damayanti moves to another institution. Realizing this, Pratyush gets upset and is forced to fulfill his responsibilities towards his family. The second half tells about Satchidanandan’s new thoughts coming to the new world and Pratyush’s race to overcome the difficulties.
