One of the greatest battles in WWII history is finally coming to Worthington Publishing.
Designed by Dan Fournie, and using concepts from the Worthington Holdfast series. With less than 50 pawns per side and 8 rule pages, you’ll be ready to play in 15 minutes, and you’ll be finishing games in 2 hours or less.
Each side receives a set number of resource points to move and fight, each movement or fight costing one resource point. But you can do them in any order, so attack with an adjacent unit, create a hole, then rush to another unit, which can then attack! Then move the initial unit that attacked to create the hole … you choose! Breakthroughs will take place, having the right units in position is essential to exploit the opportunities available to you.
The Germans start with more resource points which will decrease as the game progresses, the allies start with fewer points and these increase as the game progresses, which reflects the historical situation.
Just like in DUNKIRK 1944, we have included optional German objective cards. The German player secretly chooses one before playing, the Allied player does not know the real German objective until the end of the game, which creates tension until the last dice roll.
Air power, leaders, changeable weather, and optional rules for hiding unit strength with fog of war tokens are included.
