A fire broke out, from an as yet unknown cause, in Woodland in the area of Kalfa, of the Municipality of Western Achaia.
42 firefighters with two groups of pedestrian units and 14 vehicles are operating at the scene, while a plane and a helicopter are continuously dropping water from the air.
According to the Fire Department, no residential areas are threatened so far.
