Acer’s Next@Acer Spring Event: New Products in the Vero Series and Predator Brand, Including High-Performance Notebooks and Gaming Laptops

At the spring event Next@Acer we will regularly learn about Acer’s main news for the next six months. Main part video presentation focused on new products in the ecological Vero series and gaming products under the Predator brand. In reality, however, Acer announced more, if only in the form of press releases.

The event started with the introduction of the bike Live, but we’ve covered that on Živa before and now we haven’t learned anything new. But we are mainly interested in notebooks, and he innovated a model here as part of the project Acer Aspire Vero 15 on the 13th generation of Intel and increased the proportion of recycled plastics from 30 to 40%.

Swift X 16 – performance outside the game

New Acer Swift X 16 is a notebook for creators and designers that delivers high performance thanks to the AMD Ryzen 9 7940H with GeForce RTX 4050 graphics and a 3.2K OLED display with a brightness of 500 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The purpose of the laptop is also indicated by the pre-installed Studio Drivers optimized more for creative applications than for games. The new design with a thin (17.9 mm) and light (1.9 kg) aluminum body will still offer basic ports including a MicroSD reader, Wi-Fi 6E support.

Travelmate – honest work tools

As part of the Travelmate business line, I got the affordable TravelMate P2, TravelMate P4 14 and higher performance convertible TravelMate P4 Spin 14 and the premium TravelMate P6 14.

The latest TravelMate P6 14 in a decently elegant body will offer a 3.2K OLED display (2,880 × 1,800 px), Intel Core processors of the 13th generation, an infrared FullHD camera with login and Wi-Fi 6E with a 5G module.

The 14″ and 16″ versions of the TravelMate P4 and TravelMate P4 Spin notebooks with 13th generation Intel Core i7 vPro processors will also offer GeForce RTX 2050 graphics. The TravelMate P4 14 stands out with a lightweight magnesium alloy chassis and a larger screen area on a display with thin bezels, an aspect ratio 16:10 and a resolution of up to 2.2K. The convertible TravelMate P4 Spin 14 is also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass, a touch panel with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1200 px and a stylus in the body of the notebook for easy hand writing.

The Acer TravelMate P2 series notebook is equipped with a 14″ and 16″ display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 (1,920 × 1,200 px). Here, too, you get 13th-generation Intel Core processors with GeForce RTX 2050 graphics. Plus, even in this cheaper line, you get USB-C Thunderbolt or optional 4G LTE support.

Predators for gaming fun and portability

The Acer Predator gaming series has also received an update to the latest processors and graphics. Top model Predator Triton 17 X it offers maximum performance without compromise with up to the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and GeForce RTX 4090 graphics. The 17″ display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 is also offered in a MiniLED design with a brightness of over 1000 nits and a refresh rate of 250 Hz. Predator Triton The X 17 is equipped with other premium features such as RGB keyboard backlighting for individual keys, a fingerprint reader and a glass touchpad.

Brand new Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-71) features the powerful components that the Helios series is known for, but offers a more affordable price. Equipment includes Intel 13th generation HX series processors and graphics up to Geforce RTX 4070 with TDP 140 W. You can have displays with a refresh rate of 165 Hz in 16″ and a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 px or 1,920 × 1,200 px. In both cases with G-Sync support.

A small yet powerful laptop Acer Predator Triton 14 with an Intel Core i7-13700H processor up to the 13th generation and a GeForce RTX 4070 or 4050 graphics card, you will appreciate it for everyday use. The smaller 14″ display has a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels, and the backlighting is handled by miniLED, so it offers high contrast and brightness. Thanks to the microSD reader, the notebook will also appeal to creative professionals.

Predator Helios 3D 15

The new generation of gaming notebook Predator Helios 3D 15 now supports 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop graphics. Predator Helios 3D 15 uses a combination of SpatialLabs eye-tracking solutions, stereoscopic 3D display and real-time scene rendering technology, thanks to which you can see the prosotor scene on the 15.6″ display even without special glasses. It also offers various 3D gaming modes with 3D+ settings and 3D Ultra for over 70 titles, with more to come.
