Acer launches two types of AI PCs equipped with Intel and Qualcomm SoCs

Acer will introduce two types of artificial intelligence (AI) PCs equipped with system-on-chip (SoC) from Intel and Qualcomm in Korea in the middle of this month.
As the AI PC market is blossoming, Acer plans to release AI PCs with each chipset manufacturer so that users can choose their preferred SoC.
‘Swift 14 AI Intel’, which will be released in the middle of this month, will be equipped with ‘Core Ultra Processor Series 2 (Luna Lake)’, Intel AI PC SoC.
Luna Lake’s neural network processing unit (NPU) specialized in AI task processing supports the performance of up to 48 TOPS (1 trillion operations per second), meeting the AI performance of more than 40 TOPS that requires Co-Pilot + PC.

The strategy is to lower the price barrier by adopting a cheap SoC and launching the Swift Go 14 AI at a price range of around 1 million won.
Acer will also introduce an AI PC based on ‘Ryzen AI 300’, an AMD AI PC SoC, in Korea early next year.
