Acer Introduces the 3 Latest 275 Hz Gaming Monitors

Metroterkini.com – Welcoming CES 2021, Acer has just revealed a gaming monitor with tantalizing specifications. Even one of the monitors is claimed to be equipped with a refresh rate of up to 275 Hz.
The company launched 3 monitors at once under the Nitro and Predator brands.
The devices carry commercial identities as the Acer Nitro XV282K KV, Acer Predator XB323QK NV, and Acer Predator XB273U NX. The Acer Nitro XV282K KV is the “cheapest” variant of the three devices above.
The company explains that this gaming monitor supports the latest generation consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The cheapest variant supports 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) 120 Hz, with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) via HDMI 2.1.
Quoted from XDA Developer, this is Acer’s first 4K UHD monitor equipped with HDMI 2.1.
The monitor features a 28-inch IPS panel with HDR 400 that covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut and a 100,000,000: 1 contrast ratio.
Other features include AMD FreeSync Premium, TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification, and Acer’s IPS Agile-Splendor technology to provide clear images at wide viewing angles.
The monitor also features several technologies from Acer VisionCare 3.0 which combine LightSense, ColorSense, ProxiSense, and BluelightShield Pro to help reduce eye strain.
Some of the features above are also embedded in the other two more premium models.
The Acer Predator XB323QK NV is a 31.5-inch option featuring 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The panel is equipped with 90 percent DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut with Acer Agile Splendor IPS certification and VESA DisplayHDR 400. Finally, the Acer Predator XB273U NX is aimed at heavy gamers.
The device is equipped with a 27-inch IPS WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz.
Even so, the company claims that the existing refresh rate can be overclocked up to 275 Hz. This Acer Predator XB273U NX variant is priced starting at US $ 1099 or Rp.15.4 million.
The cheapest variant of the gaming monitor (Acer Nitro XV282K KV) starts at US $ 899 or Rp.12.6 million. Meanwhile, the Acer Predator XB323QK NV can be purchased for 1,199 US dollars or Rp. 16.8 million.
The three Acer gaming monitors will debut in the US, European and Chinese markets. It is still unknown whether Acer will also include this gaming monitor in Indonesia or not. [**]
