Acer ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition and ConceptD 3 Series Launch, Special Specifications

Suara.com – Acer officially introduced its newest laptop, namely ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition (CN715-73G).

Equipped with stereoscopic 3D technology specially designed for designers, developers and content creators.

This stereoscopic 3D technology allows users to create 3D designs without the aid of special glasses.

Through SpatialLabs, Acer delivers a range of optical, display and sensory technologies with real-time rendering of video and images.

Acer also announced a 15.6-inch version of the ConceptD 3 Ezel and the 16:10 version of the ConceptD 3.

“Acer is always trying to break the boundaries between humans and technology,” said Jerry Kao, Co-COO, Acer Inc.

According to him, SpatialLabs is an example that is done to break these boundaries.

“From CAD products and architecture to 3D graphics projects, now content creators can see their 3D designs as they go along,” said Kao.

That way, he added, creators are able to preview their 3D designs before the rendering process is complete so that the design results are maximized.

“Through the ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition laptop, creators are more free to be creative in making designs or 3D animated videos,” he said.

This ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition laptop is powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor combined with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD.

The new ConceptD 7 is equipped with a PANTONE-certified UHD 4K display that offers a variety of color technologies covering 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut and Delta E<2 color accuracy.

Combined with stereoscopic technology, this laptop screen presents stunning 3D graphics as if they were real.

Above the screen, Acer places a set of stereo cameras that can track the user’s eye position, eye movement and head to display images in stereoscopic 3D.

This camera can project two images with slight differences through an optical lens that has been glued to the display panel. The images are then each refracted into a different eye.

This real time rendering technology works if the user turns his head, the stereoscopic 3D image will adjust the position of the head, as if the user is looking at his surroundings.

With a series of AI technologies, this laptop is capable of generating stereo image generation, allowing users to convert standard 2D content into stereoscopic 3D content.

3D Stereoscopic Software for Designers

The SpatialLabsTM feature on this laptop allows users to view their images in real time.

SpatialLabs supports all 3D file formats allowing users to convert standard 3D graphics into stereoscopic 3D simply by importing them into SpatialLabs Model Viewer.

Additionally, the SpatialLabs Model Viewer add-on is currently available for eight 3D software suites.

This laptop can also be used in conjunction with a 2D display making it possible to create or edit content on a 2D monitor.

Furthermore, users can see every change made in real time in stereoscopic 3D on the SpatialLabs device.
