Dhiauddin’s parents did not expect that their son would be a participant in the call to prayer contest which was held ‘Otr Elkalam’ in Arab Saudi. Dhiauddin is said to be just trying when he takes part in this international event.
“At first he told me his participation in the contest was just trial and error and didn’t expect much. Apparently, Alhamdulillah, he got a call for the next stage. To be honest, I didn’t think my son would qualify for the final,” said Dhiauddin’s father, Tgk Nazaruddin Basyah launched detikSumatraWednesday (5/4/2023).
According to Nazar, registration for the contest was done online by sending a recording of the call to prayer to the committee. After going through the assessment, Dhiauddin passed and received an invitation from the committee a month before the activity was held.
Dhiauddin, who was completing his doctoral degree in Malaysia, decided to take part in the competition and fly to Saudi Arabia. According to Nazar, the baby has now entered the top four.
“17 Ramadan will appear again,” he explained.
Nazar hopes that the people of Aceh in particular and Indonesia in general will pray for Dhiauddin so that he can win this prestigious event. In addition, he also hopes that his son can complete his doctoral study program.
