Earlier, Aceh Health Service Chief Hanif said the sub PIN was carried out in response to the polio epidemic, with a target of reaching 95%.

Therefore, all elements of the provincial-district/municipal level health personnel were mobilized to collaborate in achieving the goal.

“You can’t fail, you have to reach 95 percent, if you don’t reach it you have to repeat it, so you have to reach this goal, because this is only useful if it reaches 95 percent,” he said.

According to Hanif, this was due to the unknown source of the polio virus at Pidie Regency. Of course, he said, the virus didn’t appear on its own.

“Furthermore, the polio virus detected in Pidie is known to have mutated 25 times. Therefore, the Sub PIN implementation in Pidie must be successful, at least 95%, so that Pidie children are protected from polio.” he has declared.
