Laksmiwati Anggraini (62), wife of doctor Sukardi in Lhokseumawe, was found dead in her room with tying marks on her neck. The alleged victim kill ex-wife of ex-wife Siri Sukardi, WL (36).
“The motive for the murder was motivated by hurt feelings towards the victim after her unregistered marriage to the victim’s husband was discovered and she was forced to divorce,” said the Head of the Police Criminal Investigation Unit. Lhokseumawe, Inspector Yudha Prastya, to journalists, reported by detikSumut, Wednesday (9/10/2024).
Based on CCTV footage, it is known that WL entered Dr. Sukardi’s workplace on Monday (7/10) at around 15.00 WIB. This practice is also home to the victim Laksmiwati, a retired civil servant.

After entering the location, WL allegedly hid before acting. Yudha revealed that the perpetrator may be arrested on Jalan Medan-Banda Aceh, right in Alue Awe Village, Muara Dua District, on Tuesday (8/10) at around 16.00 WIB.
“When the arrests were made, we also recovered several pieces of evidence, including a piece of plastic rope that was said to have been used to ensnare the victim, as well as a car used by the committed the crime to escape,” explained Yudha.
Police are still investigating WL. He was charged with Section 338 of the Criminal Code for murder which carries a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
