Bulgaria, together with the rest of the Balkan countries Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Turkey will be covered by the greatest heat in recent years. Along with that, AccuWeather is also predicting a major drought. There is a similar forecast for Italy.
Unlike the Balkans, where there will be almost no rain, a lot of rain is expected in Great Britain and Ireland. The same forecast is given for Germany, France and Poland, where there will also be thunderstorms.
“This summer’s heat in the Balkans may turn out to be one of the worst in recent years,” said AccuWeather meteorologist Alan Puppert. According to him, it will be the hottest in Bulgaria at the end of June and in August. Then there will also be a great danger of fires.
