Éric and Stéphane cross the United States of America by bicycle. They sent us a new message.
Our two fighters, despite the accumulated fatigue, hold on.
“We diagonally crossed a very small part of Oklahoma and Texas and entered New Mexico on July 10.
In this penultimate stage of our journey, the landscapes are fantastic… We crossed the 4,000 km mark on July 12 and on the 13 we cycled through the gigantic plain of the Rio Grande then climbed the southern end of the Rocky Mountains to reach the small town of Magdalena, perched nearly 2,000 m above sea level. The temperature is 33°C, but the heat is dry… We fear, in 4 days, 15 degrees more in Phoenix, Arizona! Morale is in good shape, tired all the same, but the legs are holding up..”
