The General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control, the state’s tool for controlling and regulating the health sector in Egypt, announced that Egypt has obtained international accreditation for hospital standards from the International Association for Health Care Quality (ISQUA), which is the largest neutral international organization in the field of quality known as “accredited bodies”.
The Health Accreditation and Supervision Authority said: Egypt’s obtaining this accreditation for hospital standards is a guarantee that the Egyptian accreditation for hospitals according to the standards issued by the authority meets and complies with the highest international standards and specifications that are applied worldwide.
And she continued: In dedication to the efforts of a large number of experts and success partners, the Health Accreditation and Control Authority headed by Dr. Ashraf Ismail will announce this accreditation during a press conference in the presence of the representative of the International Society for Health Care Quality in Egypt next Thursday to present the official certificate obtained by Egypt, and what efforts have been made to reach To this achievement, under the auspices and support of the political leadership in Egypt in order to obtain the certificate.
It is mentioned that the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control is an independent body established under Law No. 2 of 2018 regarding Comprehensive health insurance It is subject to the general supervision of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and it is the authority responsible for issuing standards that are applied to ensure the provision of high-quality health services to the Egyptian citizen in accordance with quality and safety standards in line with the strategic objectives of the Egypt Vision. –
