The intensification of the Russian offensive on the fringes of regions annexed by Moscow is cause for concern in Ukraine, particularly among civilians who say they were tortured during the Russian occupation.
One of them, a former immigrant to Portugal, assumes that he lives in fear in Kherson, one of the regions hardest hit by enemy artillery.
