Accountants honor San Matteo with the traditional sailing

Between sacredness and profession, sport and solidarity, accountants from Salerno celebrated Saint Matthewpatron saint of the city and of the Category, with the fourth edition of the initiative “In the footsteps of Saint Matthew, the role of the accountant in society” promoted by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts (ODCEC) of Salerno with the patronage of the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts (CNDCEC) and this year divided between scientific works, conviviality, sporting event and solidarity.

During the two-day event with which professionals pay homage to the Patron Saint, on Saturday 21 September the celebrations will move to the sea with the sailing organised by the Association of Chartered Accountants at the Italian Naval League – Salerno Section as part of the traditional “Sailing of San Matteo”. The sporting event, which also celebrates the 2nd edition of the “Trofeo Speciale Challenge dedicated to Giuseppe Vigna” – and the 11th edition of “Accountants and …. Venti” which involved in the sailing challenge the professionals participating in the event “Nel solco di San Matteo, il ruolo del commercialista nel sociale”.

Sport and solidarity were the ingredients of this Saturday dedicated to the Patron Saint. Twenty-seven boats competed with a competitive and friendly spirit and at 4 pm at the Lega Navale the awards ceremony took place
