As a business process advisor for the Financial Operations, Auxiliary and Governance Department, you will:
- Develop and implement processes related to transaction reconciliation services;
- Participate in the definition and monitoring of the development plan (3-5 years) of the Auxiliary and Governance service center;
- Identify opportunities to optimize the efficiency of operations;
- Act as subject matter expert in sector projects;
- Participate in the definition of orientations concerning the evolution of services in the sector;
- Set up and monitor process management indicators;
- Develop, prepare and analyze management reports for management and ensure the accuracy of financial data, the quality of their presentation and compliance with standards and regulations in force;
- Design analytics and analytical dashboards (BI)
- Support and train the service team in its work as well as act as a trainer or trainer of the tool for other sectors;
- Participate in the preparation of the year-end external audit file and internal audit mandates for all the processes under your responsibility;
- Implement good internal control practices that ensure the accuracy of financial data relating to the activities of the sector;
- Be responsible for certain accounting analyzes throughout the year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA CA, CPA CGA or CPA CMA)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate English
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the Windows environment
- Knowledge of Power BI (an asset)
- Knowledge of the ERP Cloud system (an asset)
