Accordions and box are stolen from participants of the Amateur Accordion Contest

Two accordions and a box were stolen from the trunk of a vehicle that was left in the parking lot of the La Pedregosa Recreation Center, whose instruments belong to the accordion player Jairo Gacel Moreno and the cashier Camilo Sáenzwho are participants in the Amateur category at the 56 Vallenato Legend Festival.

The case happened today Tuesday afternoon when those affected arrived at the aforementioned place after his participation in the first round of amateurs at Los Algarrobillos park.

Camilo Sáenz told that they arrived at La Pedregosa to support a participant in the Children’s category.

“We left the car inside the parking lot of La Pedregosa, we entered and when we left we did not notice that the car was violated, a few meters later we stopped to look in the trunk for a bag that contained a cell phone charger and we were surprised that the accordions were not there, just like the box”Camilo Sáenz explained.

He reported that these are instruments of great value, not only monetary, although they exceed the 10 million pesos, but the most important thing is that they were left without the tools to be able to compete in the second round.

Right now we are sitting idly by, we don’t know how we are going to compete”Saenz pointed out.
