According to the head of Nvidia, a regular language can replace programming languages

Did you know that you are already fluent in machine language? At least according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, human language is becoming a programming language.

During a recent financial report, Huang commented on the development of AI models, including ChatGPT:

We’re beginning to understand – the whole world is realizing that perhaps the human language is quite a working programming language.

Huang explained that ChatGPT is able to perform tasks for which it has not been trained. We can set queries in normal phrases, getting output in the form of Python and even Cobalt, which not many people remember. At the same time, Python can be transferred to Blender – it turns out that ChatGPT is a program that can write programs for another program.

According to Jensen, this development will lead to the fact that everyone can program. If the task can be explained in simple terms, then the AI will be able to generate the required set of instructions.

At the same time, Huang is not afraid that the AI will reach the point where it can take over humanity, as opponents of AI predict. In his opinion, language models will be an ideal tool for controlling machines. True, how everything will turn out, we have to find out on our own skin – this is no longer science fiction, but our reality.
