Filter coffee at Stiftung Warentest: Good grades, but not “very good”

The test results are solid: eight coffees received a grade of “good” and seven others received a “satisfactory” rating. There was no “very good” rating this time, but all products passed the test with decent performance. Coffee test: These are the front runners

At the top is the Tchibo Eduscho filter coffee No. 1 Classicwhich secured first place with an intense aroma and a balanced taste note (overall rating: “good”, grade: 2.0). The coffee impressed the experts in particular in the sensory test (“very good”). However, when it came to corporate responsibility, the coffee only scored “sufficient”.

Three coffees managed to score points in both test areas: Lebensbaum Coffee Gourmet Classically ground, Aldi Nord Barissimo Classic and dmBio Coffee Classic showed that good filter coffee and responsible behavior can go hand in hand.
