According to Kinkel, the necessary steps have already been taken

The Schmitten b-now applies for transparent clarification of the infidelity case in the town hall. Mayor Marcus Kinkel considers this to be nonsensical and says: “The necessary steps have already been taken”.

SCHMITTEN – Mayor Marcus Kinkel, who is himself a lawyer, commented this Tuesday on a motion from b-now regarding the infidelity case in Schmitten town hall, which is to be discussed at the upcoming community representative meeting:

The criminal process has been concluded and the defendant has been convicted of embezzlement, said Kinkel. The corresponding reasons for the judgment are not yet available. “To secure our civil law claims, we have filed a lawsuit. The process is currently pending before the Frankfurt Labor Court,” he continues.

From the point of view of the allegations made by the criminal court, the lawyer commissioned by the Schmitten community, Mehler, prepared a legal statement. His opinion is now available to the local authority of the Hochtaunuskkreis and the Hessian Association of Towns and Municipalities. It was agreed with both institutions that there will also be a legal review of the facts with regard to possible liability issues. The results of these examinations are to be presented to the parliamentary groups in the council of elders. Therefore, from the mayor’s point of view, the present application makes no sense, as the steps required there have already been initiated.
