According to Balázs Hankó, 2024 could be the year of teachers

The state secretary announced that by the February deadline, 120,990 people applied for the renewed Hungarian higher education, 22 percent more than two years ago. He recalled that two years ago, admissions were reconsidered, the system was made more flexible, and the admission results justify the measures. He put it this way: the state “stepped back from higher education”, universities were given more freedom.

The aim is for the institutions to be able to cooperate better with regional economic actors, for which we have given them the appropriate freedom

he added.

Many people study while working

Explaining the application data, he said: again this year, economics majors were chosen by the most, and the second most popular field was teacher training, with more than 17,000 applicants. Balázs Hankó also reported that every second applicant chose a rural university and more and more people from disadvantaged areas were admitted. He also said that more and more people study while working, more than 30,000 of the 121,000 applicants are over 30 years old.

We need a knowledge-rich Hungary

– stated Balázs Hankó, who also mentioned that applicants can upload documents to the e-admission system between March 25 and July 10, and the point limits will be announced on July 24. He noted: the Pont ont party, awaiting the results, will be held in a rural location this year. The Secretary of State radio Kossuth Good morning, Hungary! was also a guest on his show, where he highlighted:

in the new system, higher-level graduation counts with more weight than before.

He also reported that Hungarian universities are moving up in international rankings, especially the international recognition of medical and veterinary education. He noted that there are more and more courses in English and German in domestic institutions, which is very attractive to foreign students. There are currently around 43,000 foreign students studying here, most of them from Germany, the Scandinavian countries and China.

The teachers were punished by the dollar left with the digging in Brussels

The teachers have so far suffered the most from the Hungarian dollar-left EU representatives’ mine work against our country. Fidesz refers to treason, but the left-liberals acting for international interests still do not stop at blackening the country that delegated them to Brussels as much as possible – Magyar Nemzet writes in its article adding that the left-wing trade union remained silent after Miklós Hajnal’s statement. The Momentum board member openly admitted, and even boasted about it, that the left lobbying against Hungary in Brussels, in addition to the rule of law procedures, also called for the withdrawal of EU funds from our country,

this is one of the reasons why teachers’ salary increases were delayed.

The politician spoke to Egon Rónai on ATV about what their EU representatives, Anna Donáth and Katalin Cseh, achieved in Brussels.
