Accomplished the 2nd grade in the integrity evaluation by the Korean Red Cross for 2 consecutive years

The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Shin Hee-young) announced on the 27th that it had achieved the 2nd grade in the comprehensive integrity of public institutions for two consecutive years in the evaluation of the ‘2022 Comprehensive Integrity of Public Institutions’ conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

The overall integrity level is calculated by reflecting the ‘actual state of corruption’ in the ‘Integrity Effort Level’ evaluation, which evaluates anti-corruption efforts and the results of the ‘Integrity Perception Level’ survey targeting public officials and the public.

Hanjeok achieved the 2nd grade in both the sense of integrity and the level of effort, and the 2nd grade in the overall integrity for 2 consecutive years.

This corresponds to the highest evaluation grade in the Ⅳ (focused) group of public service-related organizations to which Hanjeok belongs.

Hanjeok said last year that it has been actively pursuing various anti-corruption policies while carrying out humanitarian activities such as disaster relief at home and abroad and pan-governmental blood donation campaigns amid the prolonged pandemic.

Chairman Shin Hee-young said, “The Korean Red Cross will be aware of corruption and internalize anti-corruption and integrity awareness into our daily organizational culture.”
