President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Jakarta. Jokowi directly inspected the mass vaccination of residents with Jakarta ID cards.
Monitoring detik.com, Saturday (26/6/2021), Jokowi arrived at GBK at 10.30 WIB. Jokowi wearing white clothes and a black mask.
Jokowi was accompanied by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Arriving at GBK, Jokowi immediately waved at the residents sitting in the stands. Suddenly residents responded with applause and greetings to Jokowi.
Jokowi accompanied by Anies, the TNI Commander, and the National Police Chief immediately walked to the vaccination tent. Jokowi seemed to review vaccination participants and health workers (nakes) on duty.
Previously, Jokowi also monitored mass vaccinations at Bhayangkara Field, South Jakarta. Jokowi also ensured the readiness of mass vaccination in all regions.
Jokowi also received reports from the ranks of the regional police chiefs in several regions via online. The reports that Jokowi received were vaccination reports in Central Java, North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, East Kalimantan and Maluku.
Jokowi also challenged the regional police chief and local government to double the vaccination target. It is known, Jokowi is currently targeting 1 million vaccinations throughout Indonesia.
