Accommodation for Greater Paris!

The housing crisis in the Greater Parisian metropolis is serious and will worsen if nothing changes in terms of the construction of social housing, the fight against real estate and land speculation, the cost of rents and expenses, etc.

There is an average wait of 11 years for social housing in the Parisian metropolis, it is inhumane!

The middle and working classes, their children and grandchildren must be able to live in good conditions in the metropolis of Greater Paris. But today, those who carry out essential jobs in hospitals, cities, companies, can live less and less in the metropolis of Greater Paris due to the lack of social housing, the exorbitant prices of housing for membership, the cost of free rents… The remoteness of housing from the workplace is bad for their living conditions and bad for the environment. We recall that 70% of families have the right to social housing.

Mayors and elected officials of the Greater Paris metropolis, we invite the inhabitants of our cities to participate in a demonstration on Tuesday 6 December at 6.30pm in front of the Ministry of Housing (Varenne metro station).

We invite you to demonstrate for the obligation to build a minimum of 30% of social housing in new real estate operations and especially around the neighborhoods of the new Grand Paris Express stations. We are asking for state funding to meet the challenges of energy requalification of social housing and the use of materials of biological origin.
