Waldbüttelbrunn (dpa / lby) – A 32-year-old female coachman was trapped between horses and a carriage and seriously injured in an accident in Waldbüttelbrunn in Lower Franconia (Würzburg district). Due to a driving error in a curve, the rear of the carriage broke out on Saturday afternoon, and the team threatened to tip over, as the police announced on Sunday.
To get to safety, the 32-year-old tried to jump off the carriage. In doing so, however, she got caught between the horses and the carriage. According to police, the woman was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter. Her passenger had jumped off the carriage unscathed. The horses were uninjured in the accident; There was no material damage to the carriage.
