On Monday, the police found a dead person in Eidsfjorden in Nordfjord. The police confirm that it is the same person who has been missing since Saturday.

It was the 20-year-old Lieve Deckers who was found and confirmed dead.

Deckers have been missing in Eidsfjorden since Saturday.
Relatives have been notified and are being followed up by a municipal psychosocial crisis team in Stad municipality. They want peace around the case.
The police want to praise volunteer crews who have participated in the search.
– We have applied for two days, and there are many who have worked hard to come to this result, says task leader Morten Hagen to Firda on Monday night.
According to NRK it was a mini submarine that made the discovery at the bottom of the fjord. Rescue divers from the fire brigade in Måløy picked up the person.
On Saturday, the 20-year-old was observed swimming across the Eidsfjord, an arm of the Nordfjord. Random audience perceived that she needed help. Both police and rescue crews searched for Deckers, and on Saturday night the assignment went over to search for a presumed dead person. On Sunday, the police went out with the name of the Deckers in consultation with the relatives.
