Accidents – Freiburg im Breisgau – Two seriously injured in an accident on the A5 – Panorama

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Two people were seriously injured in an accident on Autobahn 5 near Freiburg. A motorhome driver lost control of his vehicle on Friday morning and left the roadway, according to police. The RV overturned next to the freeway and ended up on its roof. Both occupants were taken to the hospital.

During an unsuccessful overtaking maneuver at the level of the Freiburg-Nord driveway, the mobile home touched a car. Its driver was unharmed. In the direction of Karlsruhe, one lane had to be closed for almost three hours. That’s why, according to the police, rush-hour traffic was backed up to the Freiburg-Mitte driveway.
