Accidents – Frankfurt am Main – public prosecutor’s office is investigating accident drivers – Panorama

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – After a serious accident with two dead pedestrians at a Frankfurt intersection, the public prosecutor’s office is investigating the driver of the accident on suspicion of manslaughter. As a spokesman for the public prosecutor said on Tuesday, requests had been made to temporarily place the man in a psychiatric clinic. No further information was given due to the ongoing investigation. Several media had previously reported about it.

The 38-year-old man from Darmstadt drove over a red light ten days ago at high speed. He recorded two pedestrians who died a little later in hospital as a result of their serious injuries. The driver involved in the accident was also seriously injured.
