Bietigheim-Bissingen (dpa / lsw) – With a jump over a traffic island and ultimately in a house wall, a car trip for a 20-year-old in Bietigheim-Bissingen has ended. He was probably traveling too fast, lost control of the car in a right turn and drove over the traffic island, the police said. It became a ski jump for the car, it crashed into a residential building. The driver and his 20-year-old passenger were unharmed.

The car was wedged in the building as a result of the impact, the police said. That made the recovery difficult. The driver smelled alcohol. His blood was drawn and his driver’s license confiscated. According to the police, damage to the car was estimated at around 10,000 euros and to the building around 50,000 euros.
