NAMSOS: Two cars with a total of four people were involved in a traffic accident at Flått in Høylandet municipality on Thursday morning. All were sent to Namsos Hospital as a result of the accident.
Transferred to intensive care
– A patient was transported to the hospital by air ambulance, and arrived just before 0930. The person in question, a woman in her 20s, is categorized as seriously injured, confirms communications manager at Helse Nord-Trøndelag, Svein H. Karlsen.
After examinations in the emergency room, the patient was transferred to the intensive care unit for further treatment and follow-up.

Children slightly injured
The other three involved were transported to the hospital by ambulances.
– A small child (under five years old) has been examined and categorized as slightly injured. The patient is admitted for further observation and examinations. Two people in their 50s have also been examined, and are categorized as minor injuries. Both have been admitted for further observation, Karlsen informs NA.
