Accident with Flixbus on German highway | Abroad

That reports the German newspaper Bild. The accident happened on the A24 motorway near Wöbbelin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The bus got off the road and ended up in a ditch. How the accident happened is still being investigated, but according to a police source from the Hamburger Morgenpost, the driver may have fallen asleep.

Doctors at the scene of the accident told regional broadcaster NDR that most people were slightly injured or released with fright. Some occupants were seriously injured, but they are not in danger to their lives. Everyone was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The bus came from Berlin and already had destination Hamburg. There are several nationalities on board.
