In an accident in Turgi, a motorist came off the ideal line on a snow-covered road and collided with a snow-making.
The accident occurred on Sunday, January 17, 2021, shortly after 2 a.m., in Turgi. A patrol of the canton police drove to a self-accident on the occasion of patrol activity. The driver is likely to have lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered Wildenstichstrasse and collided with a snow make. The handlebars remained unharmed.
On the occasion of the assessment of the facts, it was found that the driver was pretending to be the wrong person at the beginning because he was in fact blocked with a driver’s license. It was also found that the 32-year-old driver from Sri Lanka was driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
The car used, a Seat Mii, was also out of order. This was only done with summer tires, some of which had an inadequate profile and were marketed without insurance cover.
The responsible public prosecutor opened a criminal investigation and ordered to clarify the
Suspicion of driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs or medication, a blood and urine sample.
