A passenger train has derailed on the Nordlandsbanen, the Nordland police district said in a message.
The accident happened at Finneidfjord. There will be five wagons and a locomotive involved, and somewhere between 50 and 70 passengers on board the train.
The extent of the damage is unknown.
Emergency services are en route to the scene. SAR Queen has been notified and will move out.
The line is closed between Bjerka and Mo i Rana, Bane NOR explains.
