Fatal accident on the federal highway!
A devastating frontal collision occurred on Friday evening on the B35 near Bruchsal (Baden-Württemberg). As the police announced, a 44-year-old died at the scene of the accident.
The man went off the road in his red Ford shortly before 6 p.m. for an unexplained cause, it said. First his car hit an oncoming tractor-trailer in the rear left area, then he collided head-on with the car of a 19-year-old.

According to the police, the two people involved in the accident were trapped in their vehicles and had to be rescued by the fire brigade. The 44-year-old lost consciousness and died a little later.
The young woman was brought to a hospital in Karlsruhe by rescue helicopter. How severe her injuries are was still unclear. But there is no mortal danger.
The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured. The B35 at the scene of the accident between Heidelsheim and Gondelsheim was closed for almost four hours due to the recovery and cleaning of the road.
