Due to heavy rain, there was a serious accident on the A8 motorway involving five vehicles and numerous injuries. The result was a traffic jam several kilometers long.
Munich/Adelzhausen/Sulzemoos – Heavy rain caused a serious accident on the A8 motorway near Munich on Saturday. Five vehicles with a total of 20 passengers crashed into each other between Adelzhausen and Sulzemoos.

The cause of the accident has not yet been determined – but it probably has something to do with the heavy rain that was falling from the sky at the time. “It’s all still part of the investigation,” said the police spokesman. “I can’t say yet who drove into whom, or who was pushed into whom, or who was thrown into whom.”
After the accident, the motorway towards Munich was completely closed between the junctions, and a traffic jam several kilometers long formed. The rescue services were deployed in large numbers.
After an accident with a car, a motorcyclist fell on the Mittlerer Ring in Munich and suffered serious injuries.
