After the accident, which took place around 9:55 p.m., traffic from the direction of Breda was initially diverted via the A27, A59, A2 and A65. From 10:35 p.m., drivers were guided over the hard shoulder. It is not known if anyone was injured in the accident.
The A58 remained closed for hours until all recovery work was completed. The road was only cleared again in the night from Monday to Tuesday, around 1:15 a.m.
