Young players Ajax Indonesian descent Noah Gesser died due to a traffic accident in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Friday (30/7/2021) local time.
The car Noah was traveling in reportedly got off the track, causing a collision with a taxi from the opposite direction. The police then arrived at the location by sending ambulances to helicopters.
Two people from the same car, including Noah, their lives could not be saved. The taxi driver is currently receiving medical treatment.
“The taxi driver has been taken to the hospital. He was not seriously injured,” wrote RTV Utrecht.
His death Noah This is also sad news for Indonesian football. Noah has often expressed his interest in strengthening the Indonesian national team in the future.
Indonesian blood flows from his mother who is said to have come from Java. With that fact, Noah also expressed his willingness if one day he gets a call to the Indonesian national team.
“If the Indonesian national team calls me, I will appreciate it. Even if it (the call) comes now. Most likely I will come right now,” said Noah Gesser in an interview on Yussa Nugraha’s Youtube account in mid-December 2020.
Noah is currently listed as an Ajax U-16 academy player. He was recruited by Ajax since 2018 after briefly strengthening Alphense which is an amateur club.
USdaynews reported, last season Noah scored 11 goals in 6 matches with Ajax U-16. Noah’s strengths are his high speed and instinct when it comes to scoring goals.
