A very serious accident occurred in the capital’s Mladost district. This is clear from photos published in the group “Disasters in Sofia” on the net. The footage shows that a car crashed into one of the traffic lights, and another is in the middle of the road at the intersection to Heath.
“Malinov is near Hita, it’s a big accident that the traffic lights don’t work either,” Dimitar Fratev wrote in a statement to the photos.
It is still unclear how many were injured. However, the footage shows that there are two cars, one of which is smeared beyond recognition. It is not clear what the condition of the drivers is and whether there were passengers in the cars.

According to witnesses to the accident, there were people lying on the asphalt, and parts of cars were scattered on both sides of the road.
Several cars collided. Two of them have the most serious damages. A third car was involved in the crash, BGNES reported.
The accident happened around 7 pm on the boulevard, next to one of the big shops in the neighborhood.
A street pole with lighting and a camera was lowered to the ground. The pegs separating the sails are ground.
There are fire crews and several ambulances on site. Traffic is restricted.
