An 18-year-old driver was trapped and seriously injured in an accident in Cologne-Dünnwald on Wednesday evening. The accident occurred around 6:10 p.m. on the corner of Dünnwalder Kommunalweg and Düsseldorfer Straße near the Stammheim S-Bahn stop, said a police spokesman.
According to initial information, a 25-year-old driver overlooked the 18-year-old when turning. A drug test gave a positive result for cocaine in the 25-year-old, who according to the police is considered to be the cause of the accident. The scene of the accident is currently closed.
