CHARLOTTE, North Carolina.- A vehicular accident was reported yesterday near the 7400 block of Pence Road in the Hickory Grove Division where a person resulted with seriously injured and another died at the scene.

As reported by the police of Charlotte-Mecklenburg In a statement, shortly after 7:00 pm, officers located a Nissan Altima and a Lexus RX350, which had been involved in the accident. The driver and passengers of the Lexus were taken to hospital with serious and minor injuries, while the driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities’ preliminary investigation revealed that the Nissan Altima was traveling at high speed, thus crashing head-on into the Lexus. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Major Accident Investigation Unit continues to investigate this accident.
