The driver of the car was arrested

Accident between a car and a police car on the 107th kilometer of the Trakia highway in the direction of Burgas. The incident occurred after 2.30 pm on Saturday, Plovdiv police said.

According to preliminary data, a “Ford” car rammed a patrol car of ODMVR-Pazardzhik from behind, which was watching the marking.

The two employees were taken to the hospital. One of them – a 40-year-old man – is in serious condition. He is in a shock room at St. George UMBAL hospital in Plovdiv. And the other – a 36-year-old man – was taken to a hospital in Pazardzhik. His condition is stable.

The driver of the car, 74, was arrested.

Until the inspections are completed, traffic towards Burgas is being diverted via the Tsalapitsa Interchange.

As a result of the accident, according to travelers, a huge traffic jam has formed in the section.
