The State Ecological Inspectorate announced the completion of the study of contaminated soils as a result of the accident at the Rivneazot plant. Samples were collected on 11 sites with an area of 100 square meters.

According to the research results, the excess of ammonium nitrogen and nitrates was recorded in the territories:
- near PJSC “Rivneazot” – in nitrates by 10 times;
- City of Rivne, st. Soborna, entrance to the city from the Lutsk ring – in terms of ammonium nitrogen 1.3 times, nitrates 1.8 times;
- near the village. Green Guy, on the east side – in nitrates by 4.3 times;
- near the village. Grushvitsa, from the southwestern side – 1.7 times in nitrates;
- near the village. Verkhovsk, from the southeastern side – in terms of nitrates by 1.9 times;
- near the village. Town, on the south side – 1.8 times in nitrates.
Malevany added that the excess of the indicators may also be caused by the unsatisfactory introduction of economic activity, in connection with which the State Environmental Inspectorate will request monitoring of observations of the state of soils from PJSC “Rivneazot”.
