Seniors aged 65 or over who are retired or are still working at that age will be able to access the Universal Guaranteed Pension (PGU).
This contribution replaced the Solidarity Pillar, however, it continues to be delivered by the Social Security Institute (IPS).

What is the amount in October?
As in previous months, the PGU gives beneficiaries an amount of up to $206,173 monthly for those who are creditors.
When is the October PGU paid?
To review the September PGU payment date, those who are beneficiaries must access the following Chile Atiende link (press here), where the day payment is received and in what form it is granted.
You just have to enter the link and write your RUT and then select the blue button that says “Consult” to obtain the information.
How can I apply for the PGU?
To request the PGU you must enter the website of the Social Security Institute (press here) and follow the following steps:
Enter the RUT and press “enter”. Select the “Universal Guaranteed Pension, Solidarity Pillar and Child Bonus” button. The platform will indicate if it meets the requirements. If you qualify, you will have to enter the Unique Code and press “enter”. Complete the application form and select “send”.
As a result of the procedure, the person will have requested the PGU. The status of the application can be consult on the same platform.
