Patients with HIV infection in Bihor County have the opportunity to benefit from specific medical services within the Bihor County Emergency Clinical Hospital. They can contact the HIV/AIDS section of the Infectious Diseases II Section, for monitoring the evolution of the disease, paraclinical investigations and the release of ARV medication.
In order to access specific medical services, the HIV patient is scheduled monthly, on a mutually agreed date, this schedule being confirmed by phone at 0770.104.252, one day before the presentation. Appointments can be made from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 12:00.
The patient will present himself at Room 1 of the Infectious Diseases II Department, where he will be consulted by the attending physician, after which biological samples will be collected and the necessary documentation will be drawn up. The ARV medication will be issued to the patient according to the procedures developed by the Bihor County Emergency Clinical Hospital pharmacy.
HIV testing is anonymous, with guaranteed confidentiality and pre- and post-test counseling. All information regarding the patient’s condition, investigation results, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and personal data are confidential. This information can only be provided with the patient’s explicit consent.
